Jon is both a pianist and multi-instrumentalist with a natural ear for music. He started playing piano as a toddler, experimenting with notes before he could even see over the keys. Though he didn’t begin formal lessons until age 11, Jon’s early excitement for music led him to explore creating his own compositions and learning songs by ear.

Jon continued his music education when he joined the school orchestra, playing violin and cello, and later expanded his skills to include drums and guitar—drums quickly becoming a personal favorite. He formed a band with friends, rotating instruments and honing his abilities across various styles.

Currently, Jon serves as a pianist for his church band and continues to refine his guitar and drum skills. A fan of improvisation and music theory, Jon enjoys experimenting with hip-hop and soundtrack music, often creating his own tracks at home. His gentle, encouraging teaching style makes him an inspiring guide for students looking to explore and grow their own musical abilities.

"The unpredictability of playing music with others is my favorite part. Those moments when you and your bandmates slip into 'the zone,' where everything else fades away, and the notes seamlessly come together. It’s like stepping into another world, and I love witnessing those moments and sharing them with others.”
